The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a process for adults seeking to become Catholic, either through baptism or by joining into the full communion into the Catholic Church if already baptized in another Christian denomination. In Perth, most of the Parishes under the Archdiocese offers support and training for parishes running RCIA programs. Here in Northam, at St. Joseph's Parish, we will be happy to accompany you in your journey to become Catholic.

 

The process involves a journey of faith formation, learning, and spiritual growth, culminating in the reception of sacraments (Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist) usually at the Easter Vigil or in the other time which is convenient for everyone who is involve.
